Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and/or outbound calls in Tamil to assist customers with product, service, billing, or general inquiries.
- Communicate clearly and effectively to resolve customer issues or promote services.
- Update customer information accurately in the system.
- Meet daily/weekly call targets and maintain quality standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Follow standard scripts and call-handling procedures where applicable.
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude during all customer interactions.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Qualification: Minimum HSC / Graduate in any stream.
- Language: Fluency in Tamil (mandatory); basic understanding of English or Hindi is a plus.
- Freshers are welcome; prior experience in customer service, telecalling, or BPO is an advantage.
- Good listening skills and customer-handling ability.
- Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM or call center software.
- Sales or upselling experience (if for outbound/telesales).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Good voice clarity and neutral or regional accent (as per process need).
