Biw Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Qualification-BE/B.Tech
• Experience in BIW 3-8 yrs
• Software : NX 5 yrs with surfacing skills

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineer with overall experience of 6 to 8 yrs in Passenger Car BIW
• In depth knowledge of Passenger Car BIW structure and Assembly
• Joining techniques of BIW structures
• Concept generation of the components
• Cost Optimization Ideas on the components and assembly.
• In depth knowledge of DFM and DFA of BIW components
• Knowledge on material, FMEA, GD&T and Stack Up
• Team center knowledge is a must
• Understanding the requirement of the program and managing the deliverables accordingly handling project plan and the team
• Co-ordination with cross functional team and suppliers
• Strong skill with NX surfacing is expected
• Involving in design reviews and packaging reviews for solutions and quick actions
• Aware of prototyping activities and builds
