Big Castings / Tower NDT L2 DQE Inspector

• On-job inspection of cast iron products like Hub, Main Frame, and Bearing Housing at supplier location before shipment to N&H Factory
• a. Visual Testing as per Golden Sample or Testing Block (EN1370)
• b. Magnetic Particle Inspection (MP)
• c. Die Penetration Test (DP)
• d. Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• e. Dimensional Inspection after Machining
• f. Final Visual Inspection
• g. Quality Document Review
• New vendor development for mechanical components and implementation of quality processes at supplier premises and site
• Perform detailed inspection and testing as per agreed ITP / QAP
• Study feasibility of UT and MT due to geometric constraints and suggest alternatives to designers
• Coordinate non-conformities and corrective actions at supplier site using the 8D method
• Preferred knowledge of PPAP, 8D, PFMEA, SPC, IQC, FAI
• Familiarity with Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015
• Good communication skills in English and local language (MH region) for factory work environments

Job Requirement with Education & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
• Experience: 8–10 years for Diploma holders or 3–7 years for Engineering graduates
• Preferred male candidate due to hot working environment in iron/steel foundry
• Preferred industry background: Wind Industry, Automobile, Heavy Engineering
• Preferred experience in NDT inspection of wind industry components like Hub Casting, Main Frame, and Bearing Housing
• Location: Kolhapur (Resident Engineer at Supplier Location)
• Inspector should hold Level II or III qualification in VT, MT, and UT as per ISO 9712 or equivalent
• Inspector must be experienced in casting product NDT testing as per EN 12680-3 (UT), EN 1369 (MT), EN 1370 (VT)
