JD OVERVIEW

Years of exp 5 years.

Work Location - Bangalore - Remote

Candidate will mostly work IST hours. But Candidate is expected to be available till 10:30–11:30 PM IST 3 days in a week.

These are for meetings, collaboration, or real-time work with the US team

Salary – 16 Lakhs

Requirement:

Expert level in SQL - must be able to write optimization scripts with minimal supervisors and logic in mind.

Python - required but only intermediate skills

Visualization Experience - ability to visualize data in dashboard.

Soft Skills - ownership and autonomy mindset.

JD clarity:

Which visualization tools are required - Power bi or Tableau should work

Are they expected to build dashboards from scratch Yes - this was mentioned on the excel sheet

Are they expected to maintain existing dashboards Yes

What Python libraries does the team use (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark)- Since it says -intermediate level

Is Python used for: Minimal usage once in a while - this is more SQL

How often will Python be used = lets not focus on Python too much. Mentioned on the sheet, this is primarily SQL

What size of datasets will the candidate handle Large datasets - think enterprise level data sets.

What database technologies are used(MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, SQL Server, etc.) We house everything in SQL

Will the candidate work on data pipelines, reporting dashboards, or optimization tasks - Yes, this was already mentioned on the sheet.
