Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Business Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct detailed market research to identify potential business opportunities and emerging trends.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to evaluate new opportunities for growth.
- Strategic Planning and Growth Initiatives:
- Develop strategies to capture new business, considering market dynamics and customer demands.
- Design and implement sales strategies in collaboration with other internal teams like marketing and product development to drive business growth.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with both potential and existing clients.
- Engage in regular communication with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Work closely with the sales team to create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction to increase retention and maximize revenue generation.
- Networking and Events:
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and explore new business avenues.
- Regularly meet with potential clients to pitch the company's products/services and develop partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor sales strategies that align with customer needs and company goals.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with relevant teams to improve products and services.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales performance, prepare reports, and analyze metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding sales progress, opportunities, and challenges.
