Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Business Opportunity Identification:
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify potential business opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to evaluate new opportunities for growth.
  • Strategic Planning and Growth Initiatives:
  • Develop strategies to capture new business, considering market dynamics and customer demands.
  • Design and implement sales strategies in collaboration with other internal teams like marketing and product development to drive business growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with both potential and existing clients.
  • Engage in regular communication with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Work closely with the sales team to create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction to increase retention and maximize revenue generation.
  • Networking and Events:
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and explore new business avenues.
  • Regularly meet with potential clients to pitch the company's products/services and develop partnerships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor sales strategies that align with customer needs and company goals.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback with relevant teams to improve products and services.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track sales performance, prepare reports, and analyze metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding sales progress, opportunities, and challenges.
