Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Banquet Sales Director and Head Chef to discuss sales contract details and meet customer expectations.
- Plan venue layouts according to guest count and event type.
- Determine staffing requirements, including table waiters and servers.
- Supervise the placement of tables, chairs, cutlery, plates, glasses, linens, centerpieces, heating lamps, serving utensils, and carving stations.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef regarding the timing and service of meal courses.
- Oversee guest seating, meal and beverage service, and table clearing.
- Manage the availability and service of liquor and soft drinks when required.
- Prepare work schedules, complete documentation, and ensure timely reporting.
- Respond to customer inquiries and accommodate special requests to ensure a first-class banquet experience.
