Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Banquet Sales Director and Head Chef to discuss sales contract details and meet customer expectations.
  • Plan venue layouts according to guest count and event type.
  • Determine staffing requirements, including table waiters and servers.
  • Supervise the placement of tables, chairs, cutlery, plates, glasses, linens, centerpieces, heating lamps, serving utensils, and carving stations.
  • Coordinate with the Head Chef regarding the timing and service of meal courses.
  • Oversee guest seating, meal and beverage service, and table clearing.
  • Manage the availability and service of liquor and soft drinks when required.
  • Prepare work schedules, complete documentation, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and accommodate special requests to ensure a first-class banquet experience.
