Backend Engineer-OTT Full Stack Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and micro services architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms AWS
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define and implement APIs and data structures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the system.
• ​Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Competencies:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ yr experience as a Frontend Developer preferred or similar role with a strong portfolio of projects related with video streaming domain..
• Deep understanding of Audio/Video Codecs, MAM, OTT, VOD,CMS
• Proficiency in programming language HTML,CSS,JavaScript,JQuery,Angular, ReactJS,Nextjs, Electron.js, Nodejs and its libraries/frameworks (such as Django, Flask, OpenCV, Pandas, NumPy, etc.).

Skills and Experience Required:

• Requirement analysis, design, development, implementation and testing of cloud web applications
• Tech Stack: Python
• Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, AWS (Elemental, Cloudfront, S3, Lambdas)
• Work as full stack developers for web server/services (On-Premises and Cloud) development.
• Design and development of Backend services and related frontend.
• Design and development of REST APIs.
• Design and development of AWS resources using IaaC (Infra as a code)
• DB design and query optimization.
• Communication with all stake holders.
• applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Develop streaming related applications/tools using python and FFMpeg.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement software solutions that align with project requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in solution design.
• Proficient in React JS
