Backend Developer - PL/SQL and Linux

Pradeepit Consulting Services is actively seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in PL/SQL and Linux to join our client's dynamic team. This pivotal role is for a professional with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, and Shell scripting, coupled with robust analytical skills. You will be responsible for coding high-quality software, contributing to web-based applications for large organizations, and managing the full development lifecycle for on-premise and cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development & Implementation: Code software following agile development methodology. Focus on delivering high-quality code with strong unit test coverage. Be responsible for SW Implementation and full ownership over the development-lifecycle of features according to design documents and enterprise software standards.
• Database & OS Management: Apply strong working experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database environments such as Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL. Work extensively within Unix/Linux environments utilizing Shell scripting.
• Application Design & Deployment: Develop web-based applications for large organizations, ensuring robust design for On-Prem and Cloud deployments. Design and develop solutions for multiple platforms, databases, and application servers.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with Tech Leads/Architects and actively participate in overall project planning. Maintain effective communication with the customer and interface with various R&D groups and support tiers.
• Code Quality & Standards: Ensure adherence to secure code practices and maintain enterprise software standards.

Skills

• Strong knowledge and working experience on SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, and Shell scripting.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proven industry experience in Java Development.
• Comprehensive familiarity and proven experience in OOD/OOP (Object-Oriented Design/Programming).
• Experience with SQL and relational database environments such as Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies (e.g., Jenkins).
• Knowledge in secure code practices.
• Familiarity with Graph DB technologies.
• Ability to code software following agile development methodology.
• Focus on high quality of delivered code by unit test coverage.
• Strong collaboration skills with technical leads, architects, and customers.
• Proficiency in SW Implementation.
• Experience in the development of web-based applications for large organizations for On-Prem and Cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven industry experience in backend development with a strong emphasis on SQL, PL/SQL, Linux, and Java development.
