Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Back-End Developer for Systems, you will design and develop offering solutions using the latest technologies. You will work on developing software, including open source software, and driving community best practices in IBM processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop Database Solutions: Plans, analyzes, designs, and constructs databases, implementing industry standards and best practices for database security. Analyzes and defines database and information security requirements.
- Design Software: Designs, develops, tests, and delivers software, including open source software, working effectively with open source communities for Systems.
- Write Queries: Develops structured query language (SQL) queries, back-end database stored procedures, or NoSQL queries.
- Implement Object-Oriented Programming: Develops using object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and concurrency.
- Deliver Open Source Software: Works effectively with open source communities for Systems, driving community best practices in IBM processes.
- Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming: Experience working with object-oriented programming concepts, including multi-threading and concurrency, to develop robust software solutions.
- Database Development Skills: Exposure to planning, analyzing, designing, and constructing databases, with knowledge of industry standards and best practices for database security.
- Query Language Expertise: Experience working with structured query language (SQL) queries, back-end database stored procedures, or NoSQL queries to manage and manipulate data.
- Software Development Experience: Exposure to designing, developing, testing, and delivering software, including open source software, with an understanding of community best practices.
- Open Source Community Involvement: Experience working effectively with open source communities, driving community best practices in software development processes.
- Open Source Software Knowledge: Exposure to designing, developing, and delivering open source software, with an understanding of community best practices and the ability to drive these practices in IBM processes.
- Advanced Database Security: Experience working with industry standards and best practices for database security, including analyzing and defining database and information security requirements.
- Concurrency Programming Skills: Exposure to developing software solutions using multi-threading and concurrency concepts, with a focus on delivering robust and efficient systems.
