Kiya.ai is seeking an Azure SQL Server Specialist for a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) position. We are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in managing and optimizing Azure SQL Server environments, particularly within large-scale, multi-tenant setups.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Azure SQL Server Expertise:Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server, with a particular focus on Elastic Pools.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale multi-tenant environments, specifically those involving 500+ databases.
• Database Operations & Automation:Proficiency in SqlPackage, including schema and data export/import using .bacpac files.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for the automation of routine database operations.
• Database Decatenation & Migration:Experience in preparing and executing decatenation strategies for the organizational separation of tenant databases.
• Ability to perform migrations with minimal impact on operations.
• Azure Portal Management:Knowledge of the Azure Portal, including resource monitoring and access management.
