Azure Databricks Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage Azure PaaS services such as:

• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Data bricks
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance
• Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake Gen2) & Networking fundamentals.
• Event Hub
• Logic Apps & Key Vault

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of PaaS workloads.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights).
• Implement and manage security controls, IAM, and governance policies for PaaS resources.
• Proficiency in PowerShell / Azure CLI scripting.
• Ensure high availability (HA), compliance, and adherence to SLAs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and DevOps teams for deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize costs and resource utilization across PaaS services.
• Provide incident and problem management support for production systems.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for platform administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
