Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks

We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer with SQL Development expertise, including hands-on experience with SQL Queries and Stored Procedures. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud DB technologies such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage. You must have hands-on experience in migration activities, including the migration of databases, data, and other resources across Azure Cloud environments. Experience in NoSQL, preferably Cosmos DB, is also desired. Some DBA experience (Performance Tuning and Optimization) would be a plus, to help enhance the performance of our data layer and decrease technical debt.

Key Responsibilities

• SQL Development: Utilize strong SQL Development expertise for hands-on development activities, including writing complex SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
• Azure Data Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Cloud DB Technologies: Work extensively with Azure SQL and manage data within Azure Storage.
• Data Migration: Lead and execute migration activities, including the migration of databases, data, and other resources across various Azure Cloud environments.
• NoSQL Experience (Desired): Work with NoSQL databases, preferably Cosmos DB.
• Performance Optimization (Optional): Apply DBA experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization to enhance the performance of the data layer and reduce technical debt.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other developers to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex data-related issues within the Azure ecosystem.
