Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a deep understanding of Azure cloud services. This role involves designing and implementing robust data solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions on Azure platform.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval using Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide appropriate data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleansing tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure smooth operation.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of big data technologies such as Azure HDInsight or Azure Databricks.
