Job Summary:

The Azure Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services. This includes provisioning resources, configuring virtual networks, monitoring performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring high availability of cloud-based environments. The role involves collaboration with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud workloads and ensure compliance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• manage and monitor azure resources, including vms, storage accounts, and app services
• configure and maintain azure virtual networks, subnets, and nsgs
• implement and manage azure ad, identity, and access control
• monitor system performance and optimize cloud resource usage
• manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning in azure
• handle azure automation, scripting using powershell or azure cli
• configure and manage azure monitor, alerts, and log analytics
• ensure security and compliance through role-based access, encryption, and security center policies
• support deployment of applications and updates in azure environments
• collaborate with devops and security teams to align infrastructure with operational needs
