AX Finance Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics AX 2012 R3 with a strong focus on Finance modules.
• Manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Project Accounting, and Chart of Accounts (COA).
• Configure COA structure, number sequence mapping, accounting structures, dimension setup, ledger allocation, and re-paid accounting.
• Set up taxation, automatic bank reconciliation, asset depreciation, project contracts, project hierarchy, WBS, estimation, and revenue recognition.
• Support business process understanding and manage data migration through data entities.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops, application demos, and client presentations.
• Prepare FRD, FDD, User Guides, Fit-Gap documents, and functional solution designs for customizations, reports, and integrations.
• Lead and support end-to-end project lifecycle across implementation phases.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure smooth delivery and process alignment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Professional certification like CA / ICWA is preferred.
• Microsoft AX or D365 Certification is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of finance domain and accounting principles.
