Core Responsibilities:

Lead and manage cross-functional data engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of data projects.
Architect, design, and implement scalable, efficient data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Develop reusable, high-performance code for data transformation using Python and SQL.
Maintain and enhance AWS-based cloud infrastructure, particularly Amazon Redshift, with exposure to Snowflake.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
Improve architecture of data warehouses and support production systems for performance and scalability.
Uphold best practices in data engineering, including code standards, testing, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to strategic technical direction.
Troubleshoot data issues and manage operational support when needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
8+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
Expertise in Python, SQL, Amazon Redshift, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data platforms.
Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering end-to-end data solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Experience with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
