Position: AWS Cloud Network Engineer

No. Of Positions: 2 Positions

Job Type: Contract to Hire - C2H (Candidate will be permanently moved to client payroll after 3 to 6 months based on their performance)

Experience: 6 to 9 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 10 days 

Location: Hyderabad (Onsite from day one, 5 days a week)

Note: Candidate should be able to work from the client location which is in Financial District.

Role Overview:

The AWS Cloud Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud network infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS networking services and a proven track record of optimizing network performance and ensuring seamless connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS Direct Connect and Direct Connect Gateway to establish dedicated network connections between on-premises and AWS.
• Configure and maintain Virtual Private Gateways and Site-to-Site VPNs for secure connectivity between on-premises networks and AWS environments.
• Ensure reliable on-premises network connectivity and integration with AWS services.
• Implement and manage AWS Transit Gateway for efficient and scalable inter-VPC and multi-account networking.
• Utilize AWS Route Analyzer and VPC Reachability Analyzer to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of AWS networking limits and quotas to ensure compliance and optimal resource utilization.
• Demonstrate strong IP subnetting skills to design and manage efficient network architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and ensure seamless network integration across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 to 9 years of experience in AWS cloud networking.
• Proven expertise in AWS Direct Connect, Direct Connect Gateway, Virtual Private Gateway, and Site-to-Site VPN.
• Strong knowledge of on-premises network connectivity and integration with AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway and inter-VPC/multi-account networking.
• Proficiency in using AWS Route Analyzer and VPC Reachability Analyzer.
• Strong skills in IP subnetting and network architecture design.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking services.
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification or similar.
