AWS Cloud Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud services and solutions using AWS.
• Analyze, design, implement, and manage all elements associated with enterprise cloud operations.
• Apply engineering disciplines to cloud computing, focusing on commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain automation tools using Go, Python, or Bash to streamline operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, integrate automated testing, and manage deployments.
• Configure and manage core AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and more.
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code, writing modules, managing state, and enforcing standards.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for production-grade containerized deployments.
• Monitor and tune cloud performance, security, and observability to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions aligned with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 7-10 years in cloud infrastructure with deep AWS expertise.
• Infrastructure as Code: Advanced Terraform skills for modular deployments and state management.
• Programming & Automation: Hands-on experience with Go, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• CI/CD: Knowledge of pipeline setup, automation, and integration of tests.
• Security & Performance: Solid understanding of cloud security practices, observability, and performance tuning.
• Cloud Architecture: Strong fundamentals in VPC design, IAM policies, EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and related AWS services.
