Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements and align them with business goals.
- Review and approve purchase orders, supplier agreements, and other procurement-related documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective measures to improve quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Manage procurement budgets, track KPIs, and present regular reports to senior management.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce procurement costs.
Requirements:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of cost optimization and successful negotiations.
- Experience in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
