Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sourcing opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements and align them with business goals.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, supplier agreements, and other procurement-related documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective measures to improve quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
  • Manage procurement budgets, track KPIs, and present regular reports to senior management.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce procurement costs.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of cost optimization and successful negotiations.
  • Experience in ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
