Automation Test Engineer

What youll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Implement rollback testing to ensure system stability during deployments and rollbacks.
• Develop automated test scripts for regression, smoke, sanity, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to identify areas of improvement in test coverage and release reliability.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and assist developers in debugging and resolving issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Ensure testing is performed across various environments including staging, production, and rollback scenarios.

What do we need from you

• Strong experience with 5+ years of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Good understanding of rollback testing and deployment validation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Working knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
