Job Description
Responsibilities:
Client & Market Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, system integrators (SI), and distributors within the assigned geography. Hit the ground running by leveraging existing networks to generate leads and business opportunities.
Technical Knowledge & BOQ Handling
- Possess solid engineering knowledge and educational background to understand and explain KNX and BUS-based wired automation systems. Capable of breaking down a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in front of clients independently without relying on technical engineers.
Product Expertise
- Be knowledgeable about automation products, particularly KNX systems, and have hands-on experience in selling such products. Stay updated on solutions offered by major companies like Theben, HMS Intesis, Beyond, Omega Automation, Legrand, Hager, ABB, Play Technology, Raylogic, JUNG, and other system integrators.
Sales Skills & Presentation
- Demonstrate excellent vocational, presentation, and sales pitch skills to engage clients effectively and convert leads into sales.
Industry Experience
- Prior experience in selling automation products, especially KNX and BUS-based systems, is highly preferred. Familiarity with Mumbai and Pune automation markets is a plus.
