Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop new automation scripts using UFT and enhance existing scripts based on project requirements
• Extend and maintain the automation framework as needed to support new functionalities
• Perform peer reviews of automation scripts to ensure quality, reusability, and adherence to standards
• Participate in continuous testing activities as part of the SDLC
• Design and implement hybrid automation frameworks using UFT
• Conduct test analysis, effort estimation, and test planning activities
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and automation scripts
• Execute test cases, analyze results, log defects, and perform retesting
• Prepare and maintain test execution reports and provide regular status updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application behavior and testing needs
