Automation engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Experience with Automation Framework:
• Proficient in working with Java Selenium frameworks for test automation.
• BDD & Cucumber Framework:
• Must have experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber.
• Skilled in writing feature files and step definitions.
• API Automation:
• Should be able to automate microservices (e.g., REST and SOAP APIs).
• SQL Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of writing SQL queries for data validation and database testing.
• Testing Concepts:
• Solid understanding of testing concepts and methodologies.
• Functional Testing:
• Experience in performing functional testing to ensure that applications meet business requirements.
• Performance Testing (Optional):
• Knowledge of performance testing tools is an added advantage.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Strong communication skills to interact with teams effectively.
• Ability to work in collaborative environments with developers and other stakeholders.
• Agile Methodology:
• Experience working in Agile environments and following Agile practices.
