Automation Engineer

Technical Skills:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress and Jest.
• Design and implement automated API tests using Postman.
• Perform both manual and automated testing for API and UI components.
• Create and manage test plans, test designs, and test cases for comprehensive coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct thorough regression testing for resolved bugs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases.
• Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance test automation frameworks for better efficiency and coverage.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and best practices.

Qualification, Competencies and Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science / closely related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Proven software architecture, design, and development experience.

Behavioural Skills:

• Very good communication skills
• Should be very interactive and top on deliverables being working from the client environment
