Automation Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts using Core Java for various testing types.
• Perform hands-on API testing, with a strong focus on utilizing RestAssured for efficient and comprehensive test automation.
• Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
• Manage and organize test suites and execution using TestNG.
• Utilize JIRA for defect reporting and tracking, and Confluence for test documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to all phases of the testing life cycle, including test planning, test design, test execution, and detailed defect reporting and tracking.
• Apply strong analytical skills to understand complex systems, identify test scenarios, and troubleshoot automation issues.
• Communicate directly with clients to discuss testing progress, gather feedback, and provide clear status reports.

Required Skills:

• Core Java Programming: Very strong hands-on experience in Core Java programming, with the ability to write complex programs.
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing, specifically with RestAssured.
• UI Automation: Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Test Frameworks & Tools: Proficiency with TestNG for test management, Jenkins for CI/CD, JIRA for defect tracking, and Confluence for documentation.
• Testing Lifecycle: Solid understanding of test planning, test design, test execution, and defect reporting & tracking.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Very good analytical and communication skills, including the ability to interact directly with clients.
