Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential and C&I solar segments
  • Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, networking, and digital outreach.
  • Conduct site assessments, load analysis, and feasibility studies in coordination with technical teams.
  • Present proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, channel partners, and vendors.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including documentation for subsidies and net metering as applicable.
  • Stay updated with MNRE policies, DISCOM regulations, subsidy schemes, and market trends.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and provide regular reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (Science/ Commerce). MBA preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years of proven sales experience in rooftop or distributed solar projects.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, components, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal preparation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Self-driven and target-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding of C&I customer financials and solar ROI models.
  • Exposure to subsidy processes under schemes like PM Surya Ghar or State Nodal Agencies
