Key Responsibilities

Design and Planning

• Develop detailed electrical designs for 33kV transmission lines, including route selection, line configuration, and material specification.
• Conduct load flow and short circuit analysis to ensure designs meet operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate with civil engineers to integrate electrical designs with site civil works and structures.

Installation and Commissioning

• Supervise the installation of 33kV power lines, substations, and associated electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and project timelines.
• Oversee system testing and commissioning to verify proper functionality and adherence to design specifications.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for 33kV power infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and mitigate potential operational issues.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults or outages.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations, industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE), and internal company policies.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, installation records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
• Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with project managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and external stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Actively participate in project meetings, offering technical expertise and resolving electrical engineering-related issues.
