Associate Teacher - Vocational Skills (MSFC)

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Your Subject (60% focus)

• Teach theory and conduct practicals across all four MSFC modules: Workshop & Engineering, Energy and Environment, Gardening and Agriculture, and Food Processing Techniques.
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and provide feedback.
• Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy.
• Engage parents through regular meetings to raise awareness about skill development.
• Visit external organizations to bring relevant learning experiences into the school.

Mentoring Students (20% focus)

• Mentor students to identify a trade of their choice for further specialization.
• Support students in exploring career options related to vocational skills after Grade X.

Leading Projects in School (20% focus)

• Lead one or two projects to enhance student exposure, such as inviting industry experts or partnering with industries for internships.
• Use these opportunities to strengthen leadership skills and mentor other teachers.
