Associate Teacher - Vocational Skills (MSFC)

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Your Subject (60% focus)

• Teach theory and conduct practicals for all four MSFC modules: Workshop & Engineering, Energy and Environment, Gardening and Agriculture, and Food Processing Techniques.
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and provide feedback.
• Build a positive and strong school culture, emphasizing learning and joy.
• Engage parents to build awareness of skill development opportunities for students.
• Visit external organizations to learn best practices and implement them in school.

Mentoring Students (20% focus)

• Guide students in identifying a trade of their choice for further specialization.
• Support students in exploring career options related to vocational skills after Grade X.

Leading Projects in School (20% focus)

• Lead projects to improve student exposure, such as inviting industry experts and partnering with industries for internships.
• Use project opportunities to strengthen leadership skills and mentor new teachers.
