Associate Teacher Primary - English and SST

Key Responsibilities

Teaching your subject (60% time)

• Use existing resources and design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans.
• Teach one or two subjects to classes of approximately 30 students.
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and provide feedback.
• Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy.
• Collaborate with parents through regular meetings to create a supportive learning environment.

Mentoring students (20% time)

• Mentor 15–20 students throughout the year.
• Develop strategies to strengthen students' study habits, attendance, and motivation, and share these plans with other teachers.
• Guide students in identifying best-fit careers after Grade X.

Leading projects in school (20% time)

• Collaborate with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead school projects such as Annual Day, Sports Day, and Hobby Clubs.
• Use these opportunities to develop leadership skills and mentor new teachers.
