Associate Teacher - Physical Education

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Physical Education (60% Focus)

• Develop an annual plan, unit plans, and lesson plans for PE and sports instruction.
• Ensure lesson plans balance fitness and sports skill development for students.
• Conduct PE and sports classes across grades (approximately 3 classes per grade).
• Administer regular assessments to monitor student fitness and progress.
• Build a positive school culture focused on learning, fitness, and joy.
• Engage parents through regular meetings to foster a supportive learning environment.

Managing External Sports Coaches (20% Focus)

• Identify, onboard, and manage 3–4 sports coaches for students.
• Monitor and evaluate coaches' performance to ensure professionalism and effectiveness.
• Register students for sports meets, events, and competitions regularly.

Leading School Projects (20% Focus)

• Collaborate with the Principal, Vice Principal, and teachers to design and run school projects (e.g., Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs).
• Use projects as opportunities to develop leadership skills and enhance student learning experiences.
