Associate Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Join OSTTRA's global network infrastructure team, supporting office, data center, and cloud network environments.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of network infrastructure including design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure network security and reliability across hybrid cloud and on-premises systems.
• Collaborate with global teams managing data centers in the US and UK.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in network operations and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols such as BGP and MPLS.
• Experience working with enterprise-grade networking hardware and solutions from Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, F5, and Arista.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including AWS services (EC2, Transit Gateway, Application Load Balancer, Virtual Private Gateway, VPC, Direct Connect, ELB, CloudFormation).
• Proficient in network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Python.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on AWS networking and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Experience working in regulated industries, preferably financial services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of configuration and change management practices.
• Ability to perform well independently and under pressure.
• Big-picture understanding of networking concepts relevant to virtualized and hybrid cloud environments.
