Associate Design Engineer III
Job Description
• Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
• Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderately complex engineering problems.
• Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity.
• Perform Material Take Off and effort estimation for proposals based on inputs.
• Conduct hydrologic analysis and hydraulic design; perform geotechnical engineering and investigations, boundary and topographical surveying (civil).
• Manage and lead medium-size projects independently.
• Develop and check civil drawings such as grading, bulk earthwork, heavy haul roads, and access road alignment.
• Conduct hydraulic design for underground utilities like storm water and sanitary systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standard procedures and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Home Office civil team for interface queries and timely resolution.
• Assist in the development of basic layout drawings for civil works to be used in working drawings.
• Evaluate infrastructure requirements and manage storm water systems.
