Associate Data Engineer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Create, code, and support a variety of GCP, ETL, and SQL solutions
• Apply agile techniques or methods
• Work effectively in a distributed global team environment
• Handle pipelines of moderate scope and complexity
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders using strong influencing skills
• Analyze existing processes and user requirements to ensure maximum efficiency
• Participate in the implementation and deployment of emerging tools in the GCP big data space
• Consult with architects, solution managers, and analysts to understand business needs and deliver insights
• Support existing data warehouses and related jobs
• Conduct proactive research into current technologies or development techniques
• Embrace a continuous improvement mindset by streamlining and automating processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrate learning agility and curiosity towards new technologies
• Proactively learn through team mentoring, documentation, and formal training
• Ability to deliver projects with minimal supervision
• Deliver assigned work within expected time and quality
• Self-motivated team player with problem-solving ability
• 2–4+ years of relevant experience in GCP Data and Data Warehousing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong academic background
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering from a Tier 1 institute

TECHNICAL SKILL LEVELS

• Intermediate Level:
• SQL, PL/SQL
• Python
• Basic Level / Preferred:
• BigQuery
• Composer
• Dataflow
• Data Warehousing concepts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• GCP Data Engineer certification or other GCP certifications
• Understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
