Associate Consultant - Pulmonology

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:Providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.
• Diagnostic Procedures:Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as bronchoscopy, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and other relevant investigations.
• Treatment Planning:Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and patient education.
• Critical Care Management:Managing critically ill patients in the ICU with respiratory failure or other severe respiratory conditions, potentially involving mechanical ventilation and close monitoring.
• Consultation:Providing expert advice to colleagues on respiratory-related matters and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
• Communication:Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
