Associate 1 role For Trade Operations team - Open Ended

• Process and verify daily and monthly trades across multiple asset classes
• Hands-on experience with vendors like Bloomberg, IDC, Refinitiv, Markit
• Handle trade exceptions and apply corrective actions in systems
• Work with vendors to identify and resolve issues; API knowledge for Bloomberg and Reuters preferred
• Set up listed and OTC securities including derivatives, bank debt, and swaps
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives
• Verify trades received via secure channels and clear exceptions daily
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a control mindset
• Demonstrate ownership, responsibility, and risk awareness
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
• Handle corporate actions such as dividends, splits, and spin-offs
• Manage various asset types: equity, fixed income, derivatives, and bank loans
• Review and correct portfolio corporate actions and post exceptions
• Document trade file mapping and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications & Experience (Bulleted):

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a financial domain
• 5–9 years of experience in trade processing, corporate actions, and security setup
• Prior experience in financial institutions is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of hedge fund administration is beneficial
• Experience with Advent Geneva or Paxus is a plus
• Flexible with shift timings and able to handle pressure
• Strong attention to detail and service commitment
• Familiarity with VBA programming is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and work under time constraints
