Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Demand Generation

In this role, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven AVP of Demand Generation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of some specialists while driving our demand generation and business development efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase market share, enhance client relationships, and drive revenue growth. In addition, would be leading efforts in designing and building capability with a vision to coach team members and have a minimum commitment of some years to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Continuously improve the operating model methodology for demand generation activities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 demand generation specialists, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Prospect Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify target companies and key decision-makers, developing insights to guide outreach efforts.

  • Campaign Management: Planning and execution of email and social lead generation campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives.

  • Social Selling: Develop and implement social selling strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, and other relevant channels to identify and engage potential leads.

  • Sales technology stack: Utilize automation tools to deliver campaigns, track performance, and enhance lead nurturing.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align goals and seamless handoff of leads.

  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to team members on best practices in lead generation and use of tools and technologies.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance metrics and lead quality to continuously refine strategies and improve results.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, performance metrics, and actionable insights for senior management

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Proven track record in digital sales including targeted prospecting and lead generation.

  • Prior experience in designing and operating a lead generation function including building the supporting team and technology stack.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence peers across all functions.

  • Deep knowledge of B2B digital marketing and sales processes at scale including technology automation.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business Development, Strategy and Leadership, Marketing or a related field

  • Certification in Sales Enablement will be added advantage
