Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, including billing, cash management, inventory control, and maintaining store standards. The role ensures smooth functioning of the store while delivering a high-quality shopping experience to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the billing and cash counter, managing transactions and cash handling.
  • Monitor and manage store inventory, stock levels, and rotation in coordination with the Store Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, and display standards within the store.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and store safety guidelines.
  • Assist in supervising store staff and supporting daily operational tasks.
  • Support reporting and documentation related to sales and inventory.

Candidate Profile

  • 1–4 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in FMCG.
  • Knowledge of billing, cash management, and inventory processes.
  • Ability to maintain store standards, cleanliness, and food safety compliance.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
