Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager - Civil Execution to plan, organize, and manage resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee project execution aligns with the plan, with a strong focus on on-site monitoring, issue resolution, and adherence to documentation and safety protocols.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Project Monitoring & Control:
- Monitor progress of work with respect to the Master project schedule.
- Monitor the execution of work at site to ensure alignment with drawings and specifications.
- Provide timely reminders to all contractors about schedule delays.
- Anticipate and flag imminent bottlenecks, taking steps to avoid delays.
- Monitor construction activity, schedule, milestones, and adherence to budgets, initiating actions to minimize non-conformance costs.
- Manage the project's risk management process.
- Quality & Safety Assurance:
- Ensure the workability and adherence to standards in the work methodologies submitted by contractors.
- Responsible for all site work related documentation for assigned items of work.
- Assist the QA/QC in-charge in ensuring all quality parameters are met for civil & structural works.
- Assist the safety team in implementing safety standards at the site; provide all support for making job safety analysis.
- Ensure the project construction & safety management plan is fully implemented.
- Contractor & Resource Management:
- Advise contractors on enhancing resource productivity and monitor the procurement of materials, equipment, and labor.
- Administer all contracts and assist in the resolution of differences and disputes.
- Provide cost-saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders.
- Communication & Escalation:
- Escalate to the Project Manager about all abnormal developments with respect to progress of work, safety, quality, and resources.
- Clarify specifications and continuously liaise with the accountable Project Manager.

Qualifications
- A B.E. Civil degree.
- Professional experience in PEB structure and industrial projects.
- Working experience in FMCG or bottling will be an added benefit.
