Assistant Professor - SOE- Economics

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Professor in the School of Economics to join our faculty in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Economics, a commitment to teaching excellence, and a proven research record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality lectures in Economics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct research in the field of Economics and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Supervise and mentor students in their academic pursuits and research projects.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and program assessment activities.
• Engage in community outreach and contribute to the university's service initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field.
• 7-11 years of teaching experience at the university level.
• Strong research background with a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Familiarity with economic modeling and statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, or Python).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
