Assistant Professor-Chemical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Delivery

• Deliver world-class knowledge in Chemical Engineering to students.
• Complete 100% syllabus of assigned subjects and ensure no class is missed.
• Prepare question banks for internal exams and correct answer sheets on time.
• Conduct tutorial classes for weak students and guide them for improvement.
• Discuss common mistakes after tests and provide corrective guidance.
• Take additional hours to complete syllabus and meet internal exam requirements.

Student Counseling & Development

• Assist and counsel students on academic, personal, ethical, and moral development.
• Engage classes on request by class coordinators in urgent situations.

Research & Development

• Lead research and innovation projects in the field of Chemical Engineering.
• Write grant proposals for funding agencies and develop strategic research directions.
• Integrate own research with other departmental or external research initiatives.
• Maintain a high-quality record of publications in reputed journals (minimum 2 papers/year).
• Attract research funding individually and collaboratively.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and consultancy activities.

Professional Development & Institutional Support

• Attend at least one workshop per year to stay updated on recent technologies.
• Execute tasks assigned by Governing Council, Academic Council, Principal, or Vice-Principal to support institutional growth.
