Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Support

• Deliver lectures and tutorials, ensuring completion of 100% syllabus in allocated subjects.
• Conduct internal exams, prepare question banks, and evaluate answer scripts within timelines.
• Provide extra support to weak students through tutorials and mentoring.
• Engage in classes as requested by coordinators or department heads.
• Counsel students for personal, ethical, and professional development.
• Participate in workshops and continuous learning to enhance subject knowledge.

Curriculum & Academic Duties

• Ensure timely completion of units/modules before internal exams.
• Discuss common mistakes after each test and guide students on improvements.
• Assist in maintaining smooth departmental operations and classroom management.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Governing Council, Academic Council, Principal, or Vice-Principal.

Research & Development

• Lead research initiatives and pursue innovation in Chemical Engineering.
• Write grant proposals and attract research funding individually or collaboratively.
• Publish at least two high-impact research papers annually in reputed journals.
• Promote integration of research within and outside the department.
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities, consultancy projects, and collaborations.
