Assistant Prof Biochemistry

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Professor of Biochemistry to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the academic community.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biochemistry.
• Conduct research in the field of Biochemistry and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise student research projects and provide mentorship.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in community outreach and promote the Biochemistry program.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biochemistry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of biochemical techniques and methodologies.
• Experience in teaching at the university level (0-3 years preferred).
• Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate with colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software relevant to Biochemistry.
• Publication record in scientific journals is an advantage.
