Assistant Manager/Manager - Logistics

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export shipments, including coordination with overseas suppliers/customers, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents
• Handle all types of import and export models such as high-sea sales and ship-to/bill-to transactions
• Ensure timely clearance of shipments and claim applicable export benefits on goods and services
• Coordinate domestic and international courier shipments and ensure timely delivery of documents and parcels
• Manage dispatch of product samples locally and internationally with accurate documentation and compliance
• Oversee local dispatch operations and coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams for efficient deliveries
• Review, verify, and submit logistics-related bills for payment including freight, duties, warehousing, and transportation
• Prepare and maintain logistics MIS reports for shipment tracking, inventory status, and cost analysis
• Maintain and monitor PO trackers for imports to ensure timely clearance without delays
• Oversee warehousing operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods
• Ensure accurate monthly physical stock counts and reconciliation with books
• Monitor damaged and expired inventory, manage disposal processes, and obtain necessary management approvals
• Coordinate preparation and submission of LC-related documents with finance and banking teams
• Ensure timely submission of FIRC and maintain clean import/export records on IDPMS and EDPMS portals
• Arrange and manage insurance coverage for domestic and international shipments and handle claims efficiently
• Ensure full compliance with EXIM regulations, customs procedures, and statutory requirements
• Organize, file, and maintain logistics documentation as per audit and retention policies
• Generate and manage E-Way Bills in compliance with government regulations
