Assistant Manager.Biomedical Engineering

• As an Assistant Manager in Biomedical Engineering, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of biomedical equipment and systems within a healthcare facility
• You will collaborate with a team of biomedical engineers, technicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure the effective and safe operation of medical devices and technologies

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the biomedical engineering department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
• Coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of biomedical equipment, working closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices and equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and adherence to safety standards
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for biomedical equipment, establishing schedules and protocols for routine inspections and servicing
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide technical support and assistance in troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and utilization of biomedical equipment, analyzing data and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as equipment certifications, safety standards, and infection control protocols
• Develop and maintain documentation, including equipment inventories, maintenance records, service reports, and incident investigations
• Stay updated with advancements in biomedical technology, industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
• Assist in budgeting and procurement activities, including equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and cost analysis
