Assistant Manager - Technical illustrations

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team of illustrators.
• Should possess the knowledge and work experience of the following tools:

1. Illustration tools - Isodraw, Adobe Illustrator
2. Database tools - SAP, Windchill, Power BI
3. Microsoft word, Advanced excel, PowerPoint.
4. Content Management system

• Maintains all project data including the determination of cost and timing parameters for projects and status notes.
• Delegate tasks to team members according to priority of projects.
• Responsible for peer review, metrics calculation using advanced excel tool.
• Manage the technical workload within team for maximum resource utilization
• Drives the development of procedures and best practices.
• Interact with stakeholders and Cross Functional Teams for projects.
• Take lead in brainstorming for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Adhere to ISO documentation. Conduct CAPA, root cause analysis for non-conformities. Implement corrective actions effectively.
• Plan and conduct performance and development reviews for team members.
• Prepares detailed project report presentations, summaries, monthly reports, business presentations.
• Understand and follow the best practices at Kohler.

Education/Experience:

• Master/bachelor s degree in mechanical/automobile engineering from the reputed colleges/university with minimum 60% marks.
• Should have 8-10 years of relevant Technical Publications experience.
• Should have 2-3 years of team leading experience.
• Experience with Isodraw is REQUIRED .
• Should be a very strong communicator with excellent illustrations skills.
• Should interact with stakeholders effectively to understand the requirements and deliver projects in line with expectations with proper management of available resources.
• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
• Strong communication skills.
