Assistant Manager Sales

Key Responsibilities

Water Treatment Chemicals Sales

• Manage sales for products related to cooling water treatment, chiller water treatment, boiler water treatment, RO water, and wastewater treatment
• Ensure a strong understanding of technical aspects and application of water treatment products in industrial settings

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Develop and grow business across corporate accounts, institutional clients, distilleries, pharma, seafood, and other industrial segments
• Work closely with consultants and OEMs to drive specification-based selling and project acquisition
• Identify and add new accounts to expand the customer base

Client Engagement & Product Presentations

• Regularly meet customers to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions
• Deliver compelling product presentations tailored to client needs and challenges
• Ensure a consultative selling approach to build long-term relationships

Channel Sales & Dealer Coordination

• Coordinate with dealers for channel sales execution and market coverage
• Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections from customers and channel partners

Sales Cycle & Project Management

• Manage the complete sales cycle including lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and closing
• Focus on high-value key accounts, project owners, and strategic customers to drive business impact

Behavioural Profile

• Excellent negotiation skills and persuasive communication
• Strong decision-making capabilities and business acumen
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Able to work efficiently on SAP-Concur, FLUX, and One Team platforms
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and a team player
