Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Manager - RT to achieve sales targets and drive business growth within a specific region. You will be responsible for supervising stock and cold room operations, educating and motivating the sales team, and supporting them in marketing activities. This role requires a professional with strong sales and business development skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Sales & Target Achievement: Achieve given sales targets for respective routes. Develop and penetrate new markets to expand the business.
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise stock and cold room operations. Educate and motivate the sales team through periodic briefings. Manage and communicate with sales promoters and sampling schedules.
- Marketing & Sales Support: Support the team in marketing and sales activities. Periodically maintain and record all sampling and marketing activities.
- Financial & Reporting: Control outstanding payments by following company guidelines and protocols. Share reports with senior management or the HO/SHQ as required.
- Administrative & Asset Management: Ensure the proper recording and maintenance of company assets. Assist with any special tasks as needed and communicate well with all staff.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in sales, FMCG sales, and business development (BD).
- Good communication skills and a pleasant personality.
- Excellent negotiation skills are a must.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Punctual, polite, responsible, sincere, and a positive and creative thinker.
- Ability to work comfortably in teams.
QUALIFICATION:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
