Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Invoice to Cash - Billing
The Assistant Manager - Billing is responsible for overseeing end-to-end billing operations across Maintenance and Repairs billing processes. The role includes team supervision, SLA management, stakeholder communication, quality control, escalations handling, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Operations Management
.Oversee New Bookings, Re-signs, Fast Track Changes, and SSCRM submissions
.Ensure accurate processing of billing transactions across all activities
.Supervise Repairs Billing activities including Billing Creation, Manual Billing, JDE Creation, and Inventory Cleanup
.Monitor invoice accuracy and compliance with contractual terms

2. Team Management
.Manage a team of Billing Executives/MTs
.Allocate workload and monitor productivity
.Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
.Identify training needs and conduct knowledge sessions

3. SLA & Quality Governance
.Ensure adherence to SLAs and turnaround times
.Conduct regular quality checks and audits
.Review error reports and drive corrective actions
.Reduce rework and process deviations

4. Stakeholder & Escalation Management
.Act as point of contact for internal stakeholders and business partners
.Manage escalations from SNOW tickets and customers
.Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT teams
.Support dispute resolution and billing clarifications

5. Process Improvement & Controls
.Identify automation opportunities (macros, system enhancements)
.Standardize SOPs and ensure compliance
.Drive continuous improvement initiatives
.Monitor KPIs and prepare performance dashboards

Required Skills & Competencies
.Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing lifecycle
.Experience in ERP systems (JDE preferred)
.Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) or ticketing tools
.Team handling and leadership skills
.Strong analytical and reporting skills
.Advanced Excel knowledge
.Good stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

.Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
.Relevant years of experience in Billing or AR operations, preferably in a shared service or BPO.
.Experience supporting US-based clients, ideally in manufacturing sector.
.Good understanding of ERP systems (JDE preferred)
.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
.Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/SNOW preferred)
.Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal).
.Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.


Preferred qualifications

.Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration
.Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and AR- Billing procedures.
.Experience working in US time zones or overlapping shifts with US business hours.
.Exposure to automation tools like High Radius or similar (nice to have).
