Assistant Manager- Legal, Digital

Key Responsibilities:

• Transactional / Contract Management:
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
• Content License Agreements – securing rights from third-party producers and distributors.
• Production Agreements – co-production, commissioning, and content creation deals.
• Format Agreements – licensing rights to show formats and IP.
• Marketing Agreements – promotional campaign contracts.
• Artist/Talent Agreements – on-screen talent, artists, and creative professionals.
• Regulatory Compliance & Legal Advisory:
• Maintain deep, practical knowledge of digital media and technology laws, guidelines, and industry standards in India and globally.
• Ensure compliance with:
• IT Act Rules (digital platforms, content, grievance redressal)
• Intellectual Property Laws (copyrights, trademarks, proprietary assets)
• Data Privacy and Consumer Protection regulations
• Legal requirements for AI use in content
• Strategic & Business Support:
• Identify potential legal risks and develop alternate strategies for resolution.
• Provide actionable legal advice to business stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
• Interface effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
